Job Description:

Job Summary: The Transition Lead is responsible for managing the successful onboarding and transition of clients into our ERP and operational environment, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high stakeholder satisfaction. This role involves team leadership, ERP data migration, and technical expertise/knowledge in web and backend development technologies, including ASP.NET, MVC, Angular, Node.js, React, and SQL. The Transition Lead will manage a team, foster accountability and ownership, and apply Project Management, Agile and Lean Six Sigma principles to Execute transition and drive process efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Onboarding and Transition Management:
    • Lead and coordinate the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring seamless integration into our ERP and technical environment.
    • Develop transition plans that detail tasks, timelines, and resources, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with client requirements.
    • Act as the primary contact for clients during onboarding, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project objectives.
  • Data Migration and Validation:
    • Manage ERP data migration projects from legacy systems to new ERP platforms (SAP B1, SAGE 300), overseeing mapping, transformation, and validation.
    • Conduct thorough data validation pre- and post-migration, ensuring data integrity and resolving any inconsistencies.
    • Set up customer and vendor master data within ERP systems, collaborating with finance and procurement to meet client and organizational standards.
  • Report Configuration and Validation:
    • Oversee report configuration, testing, and validation within ERP systems, ensuring client reporting requirements are met.
    • Configure and verify custom reports and dashboards, working with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Technical Development and Configuration:
    • Leverage expertise in ASP.NET, MVC, Angular, Node.js, React, and SQL to support and enhance ERP systems, client integrations, and custom development requests.
    • Collaborate with development teams to design, implement, and validate custom solutions that meet specific client needs, including system enhancements, integrations, and custom modules.
    • Ensure that all development aligns with best practices, security protocols, and organizational standards.
  • Team Leadership and People Management:
    • Lead and mentor a team of transition specialists, developers, and project managers, fostering a culture of accountability, ownership, and excellence.
    • Assign responsibilities and set clear expectations, ensuring team members are aligned and motivated to meet project goals.
    • Provide regular feedback and coaching to enhance team skills and foster professional growth.
  • Stakeholder and Client Satisfaction:
    • Actively manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring that client expectations are met and satisfaction is consistently high.
    • Conduct regular updates for internal and external stakeholders, providing clear project status and addressing any risks or issues.
    • Handle any escalations, ensuring proactive issue resolution and open communication to maintain client trust.
  • Process Optimization and Quality Assurance:
    • Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve transition processes, enhancing efficiency and reducing transition time.
    • Monitor and measure transition quality through KPIs, ensuring that benchmarks for quality and timeliness are consistently met.
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation and process records for future reference and audits.
  • Training and Knowledge Transfer:
    • Lead training and knowledge transfer sessions for client teams and internal staff to ensure understanding of new systems, reports, and processes.
    • Document key transition processes, data mappings, and system configurations to support future reference and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • 8+ years of experience in ERP implementations, technical project management, and client onboarding, with a background in finance and ERP systems.
    • Hands-on experience with ERP platforms like SAP B1, SAGE 300, including data migration and report configuration.
    • 5+ years of experience in software development, with expertise in ASP.NET, MVC, Angular, Node.js, React, and SQL.
    • Proven track record of managing and leading teams with a focus on accountability and results.
  • Certifications:
    • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

Technical Skills:

  • ERP Systems Expertise: Deep knowledge of ERP platforms (SAP B1, SAGE 300) with experience in data migration, master data setup, and report customization.
  • Development Skills: Proficiency in ASP.NET, MVC, Angular, Node.js, React, and SQL, with experience in building, integrating, and customizing systems.
  • Project and Team Management: Strong ability to manage projects and lead cross-functional teams, ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery.
  • Stakeholder Management: Skilled in engaging clients and internal stakeholders, setting expectations, and maintaining satisfaction.
  • Project Management Tools: Proficient in MS Project, JIRA, Visio, and other tools for managing timelines, resources, and task assignments.

Working days & Shift: 5 days (Monday to Friday), US shift
