Job Description:

Position Overview : The HRO Manager role will involve leading and mentoring HR Outsourcing (HRO) leaders and their teams, managing payroll, garnishment, data management, call center and tax processing functions, and ensuring compliance with local labor laws.  The HRO Manager will drive operational efficiency and enhance employee satisfaction through strategic oversight and effective team management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor HRO leaders and their teams to ensure effective performance and development in payroll, garnishment, and tax processing functions.
  • Develop and implement workforce planning strategies to ensure optimal staffing levels and skill sets in alignment with business needs.
  • Monitor workforce performance and recommend adjustment of resources as necessary to meet changing demands.
  • Lead change initiatives related to processes and systems, ensuring smooth transitions and minimizing disruption to operations.
  • Communicate changes effectively to all stakeholders and ensure necessary training.
  • Analyze and enhance existing HRO and payroll processes for improved efficiency and accuracy.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to assess team performance and the effectiveness of outsourced HR services.
  • Develop and manage departmental budget, ensuring alignment with financial goals and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor expenditures and implement cost-control measures where applicable.
  • Work closely with internal teams to align outsourcing initiatives with overall HRO strategy.
  • Provide ongoing support to HRO leaders and teams on best practices and HRO industry trends.
  • Design and implement employee engagement programs that foster a positive workplace culture and improve retention rates.
  • Gather and analyze employee feedback to inform continuous improvement efforts.
  • Develop comprehensive reporting frameworks to track operational performance metrics and present insights to senior management.
  • Use data analytics to inform strategic decision-making and operational improvements.

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in HRO management or with at least 2 years in a leadership role in outsourcing.
  • Experience in managing end to end HR (including payroll and benefits) ops for North America
  • Should have managed overall team size of 50-100 headcount
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite as well HCM software.
  • Transformation mindset and experience
  • Experience with different HRIS and payroll platforms. If somebody has exposure to UKG, then it's ideal
  • Willingness to work from office in CST hours (US shift 7:30 PM to 4:30 AM IST)
  • Should have stability in jobs-no frequent changes
