Assistant Manager Bank Reconciliations
Job Description:
Purpose of the Job: Client management, Team management, New client transition, People development, MIS & Logs updation, Efficiency improvement
Key Result Areas (Principal Accountabilities)
- Ensure delivery of financial statements as per the defined SLA for TAT and quality for clients assigned.
- Review (Detailed/High level) of financial statements prepared (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow etc.) and record entries as necessary.
- Preparation of critical audit schedules and review (Detailed/High level) of the same as necessary.
- Review and track daily /weekly delivery schedule for financials. Coordinate with US accountants and or client as required. Ensure that the targets & client expectations are met.
- Trouble shooting - Clients issues / queries / escalations / team issues - Single point of contact for any issue related to assigned clients.
- Communicate with US counterparts / clients through calls and emails as required.
- Review and track the activity checklist for all clients.
- Ensure Successful completion of projects assigned on timely basis.
- New client setup – master setups, tracking of data/information received.
Supervisory responsibilities:
- Work allocation.
- Monthly One on One Meetings & Performance Feedback.
- CBPB calculations.
- Performance & Leave Management.
- Mentoring & motivating team.
- Review all deliverables are as per agreed SLA with client.
Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent Accounting knowledge.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office and good speed on computers.
- Excellent Communication Skills and Confidence level.
- Smart & dynamic.
- Prior team handling experience of minimum 1 year.
- Accounting knowledge with US accounting experience.
- Transition experience.
- Experience in managing high demanding customers.
Key metrics measured: TAT and quality of allocated clients. Attrition nos. of team members.
Educational Qualifications: B.Com / M.Com / MBA / Inter CA (Not pursuing CA) / CA
Work Experience: 5-8 years accounting background, preferably having experience up to finalization of accounts and handling a team.
Other Prerequisites:
- Required to work in shifts. Based on business/project requirement will work in US hours.
- Prior work experience in MNC & matrix organization.
- Valid Passport.
Extent of Public Contact
- Frequently serves as a representative of Quatrro to various organizations within the industry and broader community, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions.
- Continually serves as a representative of Quatrro to the clients, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions.
- Frequently negotiates contracts, answers questions from accounting staff, and interacts with division corporate staff.
Working Conditions and Environment:
Working Days: 5 days, Monday – Friday
Working Hours /Shift – 9 hours (US work Shift Pattern), mix of WFO and WFH. The working hours may get extended due to the nature of the business.
The employee must be willing to work at a location in a small-to mid-sized office setting, plus attend client conferences and meetings that may or may not be held during the workday. Travel to other Quatrro locations or client offices may be necessary, as well as physical presence at company meetings with other offices throughout the globe.
