Job Description:

Job Summary: The Senior Manager, Accounts Receivable, will oversee the entire Accounts Receivable (AR) function, ensuring efficient processing from order to cash. This role includes responsibility for revenue reporting and forecasting, contract management, and system improvement, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing AR processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Accounts Receivable Management:
    • Oversee the end-to-end AR process, including invoicing, collections, and cash application.
    • Ensure timely and accurate processing of customer invoices and payments.
    • Develop and implement AR policies and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).
  2. Order to Cash Process:
    • Manage the order to cash cycle, ensuring seamless integration between sales, billing, and collections.
    • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing issues and disputes.
    • Monitor and report on key metrics related to the order to cash process.
  3. Revenue Reporting and Forecasting:
    • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reports.
    • Develop revenue forecasts and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
    • Ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards and company policies.
  4. Contract Management:
    • Oversee the management of customer contracts, ensuring terms are adhered to and billing is accurate.
    • Work with legal and sales teams to review and negotiate contract terms.
    • Maintain a database of contracts and ensure timely renewals and amendments.
  5. System Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
    • Leverage technology and automation to enhance AR processes and reporting.
    • Collaborate with IT to ensure AR systems are up-to-date and meet business needs.
  6. Leadership and Team Management:
    • Lead and mentor the AR team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide professional development opportunities.
    • Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment.
  7. Internal Controls and Compliance:
    • Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
    • Coordinate with internal and external auditors as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Postgraduation in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in accounts receivable management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, Corporate experience mandatory (Inhouse)
  • Strong knowledge of AR processes, revenue recognition principles, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Shift: 3- 12 midnight
Mode of Work: Hybrid, hence candidates from Thane, Mumbai.
Notice: 30 days MAX
