Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and people-oriented HR Generalist with a strong emphasis on recruitment and talent acquisition. The ideal candidate will manage the end-to-end recruitment process for Insurance Call Centre, while supporting core HR functions like onboarding, employee engagement, HR operations, and compliance. This role plays a key part in building a high-performing workforce and maintaining a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition (Primary)

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and job descriptions.

  • Post job ads on various platforms (LinkedIn, Naukri, job portals, internal referrals).

  • Source candidates through portals, social media, headhunting, and networking.

  • Conduct initial HR interviews and coordinate with technical panels.

  • Maintain a strong pipeline of talent for current and future needs.

  • Maintain recruitment trackers and provide regular hiring status reports.

HR Operations & Generalist Activities

  • Manage pre-onboarding and onboarding formalities.

  • Assist in maintaining employee records and HRMIS systems.

  • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and HR communications.

  • Support in policy implementation and ensure adherence to company guidelines.

  • Handle basic employee grievances and support performance management processes.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure background verification and joining documentation is completed timely.

  • Assist with compliance on labor laws, PF/ESIC documentation, and internal HR audits.

Key Requirements:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Human Resources or related field (MBA in HR preferred).

  • 2–5 years of experience in HR, with minimum 60–70% focus on recruitment,

  • Experience in TeleSales positions will be given preference. 

  • Strong understanding of recruitment tools, job portals, and sourcing strategies.

  • Familiarity with HR operations and basic labor law compliance.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong coordination, multitasking, and follow-up abilities.

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HRMS/ATS tools.
