Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for assisting the corporate legal function of the Company.
- Litigation management, handle pan India litigation, manage documentation, filing and co-ordinate with lawyers across various geographical locations and interaction with the internal stakeholders to ensure timely actions are taken with respect to the disputes;
- Handle all criminal and consumer matters pertaining to company
- Draft responses, evidence affidavits, reply to legal notices. Appear on behalf of the Company before courts, Ombudsman other statutory authorities
- Handling property related matters, including Due –diligence, Lease / Leave and License documentation, their registrations and manage legal requirements with respect to pan-India branch network;
- Drafting, vetting, negotiation and finalization of terms and conditions of the contracts/agreements in connection with day to day operations and business activities of the Company;
- Coordinate and work closely with external counsels, wherever necessary, on legal matters of the Company;
- Work with and extend full support to legal function in discharge of legal and regulatory functions, be willing to assume new and challenging responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
- Research on legal issues;

Minimum Qualification & Experience
- Law graduate from a reputed institution/university in India
- At least 5-8 years of relevant experience with reputed corporate/MNC/law firm – insurance company preferred
