Job Description:

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Manager Accounts with 5–10 years of relevant experience with LCC, CTA, BTA cards knowledge, preferably from a Travel Management Company. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of airline accounting, fund management, reconciliations, and statutory compliances, along with hands-on experience in day-to-day accounting operations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic travel environment and contribute to robust financial operations.

 

Key Responsibilities (KRAs)

  • Complete knowledge of airline fund management processes and settlement cycles.
  • In-depth understanding of CTA/BTA and Corporate Purchase Card processes, including reconciliation.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all revenue streams and receivables management within the travel domain.
  • End-to-end handling of LCC and BSP reconciliation and accounting processes.
  • Regular follow-up and management of outstanding receivables with clients and other parties.
  • Handling GST, TDS, and income tax compliance, including returns, reconciliations, and statutory filings.
  • Managing Amadeus / Galileo segment payouts and related accounting entries.
  • Assisting in balance sheet finalization and coordination during statutory and internal audits.
  • Vendor reconciliation, processing of payments, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Monitoring fund utilization, cash flow management, and daily accounting operations.

 

General Accounting Responsibilities

  • Maintaining accurate books of accounts and ensuring timely accounting entries.
  • Preparation of MIS reports and supporting management with financial data as required.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders for smooth financial operations.
  • Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Identifying process gaps and suggesting improvements for better financial control.
