Job Description:

Purpose of the Job

  • The trainer will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of training on end-to-end financial statements including General Ledger, Payroll, Bank Recs etc.
  • Developing Instructor-led and Self-paced training content and performing / Training reviews for internal Training documents. Also, assist to AM / DM in content development for training as needed.

Key Result AreasF&

  • Responsible for Designing and developing training content in line with Functional as well as New Employee Training with Instructional Design principles and methodologies.
  • Maintaining and Curating training content.
  • Designing and developing assessments.
  • Gathering training requirements from internal stakeholders.
  • Reviewing internal communication emails and notifications.
  • Managing the Training & Development Intranet page.
  • Responsible for completion of all the revamp for training content yearly based on changes from stakeholders on routine activities related to preparation, review and finalization of financials if needed in update of training content.
  • Update process notes, SOPs, checklists and other MIS as per timelines and requests from stakeholders and as per training needs.
  • Tracking and ensuring timely response to all emails. Manager assistance to be taken if required in understanding complex emails.
  • Take the lead on new training/s under the manager’s guidance.
  • Take ownership and ensure completion of any other adhoc tasks assigned by the manager.
  • Train new/existing team members on the process as per the requirement as for cross-training under train the trainer program.

Extent of Public Contact:

  • Frequently serves as a representative of the Training and Development team to various stakeholders within the organization, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion, as required, in all interactions.
  • The position requires interaction with internal stakeholders to identify training requirements
  • Requires direct one-on-one as well as group-based interaction with the LOB management team. Working Conditions and Environmental Attributes

 

Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :

Educational Qualifications: BCOM / MCOM/ Inter C.A. (not pursuing C.A.)

Work Experience:

  • 4-6 Years with Accounting Background, having experience in the finalization of accounts and in-depth knowledge & hands-on experience in General Ledger (including Payroll, Bank Rec, Account Reconciliations, etc.)
  • Software skills- NetSuite, QuickBooks

Requirements Skills:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).
  • Eye for details, Quality orientation, and Compliance.
  • Ownership, Accountability, Commitment, Result orientation and ability to work under pressure.
  • Adaptability to change.
  • Self-learning & development.
  • Good computer skills and expertise in MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
  • Basic understanding of visual aesthetics of training content.
  • Communicate with Stakeholders / Leads for feedback on ongoing training.
  • Indirect- Handle work allocation and training/mentoring of assigned team members
  • Required accounting background and accounting knowledge.
  • Working experience on ERP systems like GP, SAP, SAGE, XPORT, etc.
  • Preferably having experience up to the Finalization of Accounts.
  • Good computer skills and expertise in Excel

Other Prerequisites:

• Required to work in rotational shifts or fixed US working hours - based on the Business requirement.

• Prior work experience in MNC, Training & matrix organization.

Working Days:

  • Monday - Friday Working Hours – 9 hours, mix of WFO and WFH. The working hours may get extended on account of business exigencies.
  • The employee must be willing to work at a location in a small-to mid-sized office setting, plus attend client conferences and meetings that may or may not be held during the workday.
  • Travel to other Quatrro locations or client offices may be necessary, as well as physical presence at company meetings with other offices throughout the globe.
