About the Role

Evernine Brands (EBPL) is building an AI-native marketing intelligence platform. We are a small, fast-moving engineering team. You will build web app features in React + TypeScript, develop and extend our Python backend and APIs, contribute to our Python-based AI agents and automations, and build integrations across our platform and tools. This is a high-ownership role with broad surface area and fast shipping — and you will provide real engineering depth so that we are never single-threaded on any system.

What You'll Do

• Build new pages, flows, and features in React + TypeScript, and ship them into our web application.
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs in Python (our existing API framework).
• Design and query PostgreSQL schemas for the features you build.
• Build LLM-powered features and automations in Python — tool/function calling, RAG, and automated pipelines.
• Build agent-based workflows and internal automations that connect our tools and services, with appropriate review and approval steps.
• Build integrations between our platform and third-party services (CRMs, ad platforms, email/SMS, analytics, payments) via REST APIs and webhooks.
• Own quality for what you ship: testing, error handling, monitoring, and code review.
• Provide engineering coverage across frontend, backend, and AI so the team has genuine redundancy.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 3+ years building production web applications full stack.
• Strong React with TypeScript — hooks, typed components, state management, component architecture, and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong Python backend development with a modern API framework (FastAPI / Django / Flask).
• Solid PostgreSQL / SQL skills and sound data modeling.
• Hands-on experience building AI agents or LLM-powered applications in Python — OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, tool/function calling, structured outputs, and strong prompt engineering. Framework experience (LangChain/LangGraph, CrewAI, or similar) or building directly against model APIs both count.
• Strong REST API skills — designing endpoints and consuming third-party APIs (auth, rate limits, webhooks, pagination).
• Comfortable with Git, CI/CD, and cloud deployment — GCP preferred.
• Self-directed; able to scope and ship features rapidly in a startup environment.

Nice-to-Have

• Exposure to Flutter / mobile development (to support our mobile work when needed).
• RAG / vector databases (pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate).
• MCP (Model Context Protocol) — building or consuming MCP servers and connectors.
• Google Workspace APIs or Apps Script (Drive, Sheets, Gmail, Chat).
• Agent evaluation & reliability — prompt evals, guardrails, and failure handling.
• Workflow-automation tools (n8n, Temporal, Zapier/Make) or event-driven systems.
• Martech / adtech domain experience.
• Observability experience (logging, metrics, tracing).
