About the Role

The AI/ML Lead will be the technical brain behind our content intelligence engine. You will design and oversee all AI features — from content generation and tagging to semantic search and personalization.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the AI/ML strategy for the platform
• Design and implement LLM-powered content workflows (generation, summarization, tagging)
• Build and maintain RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) pipelines
• Lead model selection, fine-tuning, and evaluation processes
• Collaborate with backend engineers on AI API design and deployment
• Manage and mentor a team of ML Engineers and NLP Specialists
• Establish model monitoring, drift detection, and continuous improvement pipelines

Requirements

• 8+ years in machine learning with 3+ years working on NLP/LLM systems
• Hands-on experience with OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Cohere, or Hugging Face models
• Strong Python skills; proficiency with PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Experience building production-grade ML pipelines with MLflow, Kubeflow, or similar
• Familiarity with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, or Chroma
• Understanding of embeddings, semantic search, and knowledge graphs

Nice to Have

• Experience fine-tuning or RLHF on domain-specific datasets
• Published research or conference presentations (NeurIPS, ACL, EMNLP)
• Background in content tech, media, or publishing industries
