Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and seasoned HR leader to head the Human Resources function for our mid-sized international BPO. The position holder will be responsible for shaping and executing HR strategy aligned with business goals, driving organizational culture, and managing end-to-end HR operations across multiple locations in India. The role demands strong people leadership, business partnering, and the ability to operate effectively in a US shift environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Lead the HR function across all locations, aligning HR initiatives with business strategy.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on organizational design, HR policies, processes, workforce planning, and talent strategy.

People Management

  • Directly manage and mentor a team of 3-5 HR professionals.
  • Foster a high-performance HR team culture with a focus on accountability, learning, and collaboration.

Talent Acquisition & Management

  • Oversee recruitment strategy for volume and lateral hiring, especially for night shifts.
  • Implement robust onboarding and employee engagement frameworks.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure timely execution of payroll, compliance, and HRIS management.
  • Maintain compliance with labor laws and global BPO standards.

Learning & Development

  • Identify training needs and collaborate with L&D teams to build learning roadmaps.
  • Champion career development and succession planning.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Maintain a healthy work culture with a focus on retention and motivation.
  • Manage grievance redressal, employee connect programs, and feedback mechanisms.

Performance & Reward

  • Drive performance management cycles (goal setting, appraisals, feedback).
  • Benchmark and implement compensation strategies.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • MBA in HR from a reputed institution.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of leading HR in a BPO/ITES setup, preferably in international night shift operations.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and HR compliance in India.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
  • Comfortable working during US business hours.
