Job Description:

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Talend ETL Developer with at least 4-7 years of hands-on experience in data integration, transformation, and migration using Talend Data Integration Suite. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing robust ETL solutions to support data warehousing, analytics, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop and optimized ETL/ELT pipelines:

  • Utilized Talend to create efficient data work flow that caters to organizational needs end-to-end ETL processes using Talend Open Studio or Talend Data Integration 

Data Management:

  • Implement data Extraction, transformation, and loading process from a wide variety of source systems (e.g., SQL,oracle, flat files, APIs, cloud services).
  • Should be able to transform structure /unstructured data into logical model
  • Handle production support and debugging of Talend jobs and workflows.

Data Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity and performance during large scale integrations
  • Ensure data integrity, quality, and compliance with governance standards.

 Performance Tuning:

  • Optimize Talend jobs for performance and scalability.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot existing ETL jobs and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Implement best practices for data quality, logging, and error handling.
  • Handle production support and debugging of Talend jobs and workflows.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with business analysts, other data engineers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for all ETL processes and data flows.
  • Document data mappings, workflows, and transformation logic.

Must have Skills:

  • Strong hands on experience with Talend Data integration for both ETL/ETL (minimum 4-5) years of experience.
  • Advance expertise in PL/SQL and experience with data base tuning (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).
  • Experience with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Good to Have Skills: -

  • Proficiency with job orchestration, scheduling, and version control tools (Git, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
  • Good understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and data serialization formats.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Talend certification (e.g., Talend Data Integration v7 Certified Developer)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information technology or related field
  • Experience with big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)
  • Background in data governance, master data management (MDM), or data quality tools
  • Exposure to Agile development methodologies
