Job Description:

Job Summary: Seeking an experienced

B1.2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) team at Hisar Airport. This role requires a dedicated professional capable of performing and certifying maintenance on piston-engine aircraft, with a focus on the Diamond DA40 NG platform, ensuring continued airworthiness and compliance with regulatory standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and non-routine maintenance, including scheduled inspections and defect rectification on piston-engine aircraft.
  • Certify maintenance tasks in accordance with DGCA CAR-145 and company-approved procedures.
  • Troubleshoot airframe and powerplant systems, with expertise in Austro Engine AE300.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation and update records in the ERP system.
  • Uphold the highest safety standards in compliance with DGCA and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with engineering and planning teams to optimize maintenance processes.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • DGCA-issued B1.2 AME License (Valid and Current).
  • Minimum 3+ years of post-licensure experience in aircraft maintenance.
  • In-depth knowledge of piston-engine systems, preferably Austro Engine AE300.
  • Ability to read and interpret aircraft manuals, drawings, and maintenance procedures.
  • Working knowledge of aviation safety protocols and maintenance software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience on Diamond DA40 NG aircraft (type rating highly desirable).
  • Exposure to EASA or international maintenance practices.
  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS), Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), and integrated ERP environments.
  • Prior experience in a CAR-145 MRO organization.
  • Certification in Human Factors
  • Preferably military aviation background.
