Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – B2 (Avionics/Electrical)

Job Description:

Job Summary: Seeking an experienced B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to support avionics and electrical systems at our MRO facility in Hisar Airport. The successful candidate will certify and maintain communication, navigation, and flight control systems on piston-engine aircraft, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to DGCA standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct line and base maintenance on avionics and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in communication, navigation, and autopilot systems.
• Certify completed tasks in accordance with CAR-145 requirements and internal SOPs.
• Perform functional checks, system calibrations, and software updates.
• Document all maintenance activities in compliance with DGCA and company standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to support avionics modifications and upgrades.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• DGCA-issued B2 AME License (Valid and Current).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant post-licensure experience in avionics maintenance.
• Proficiency in avionics systems, such as Garmin G1000 NXi and GFC 700 autopilot.
• Strong understanding of electrical schematics, system testing, and troubleshooting tools.
• Excellent documentation skills and a compliance-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on Diamond DA40 NG or similar aircraft.
• Familiarity with EASA standards and integrated maintenance environments.
• Hands-on experience with digital AMOS, CAMO, or ERP systems.
• Certification in Human Factors and Electrical Wiring Interconnect Systems (EWIS).
• Military aviation background.
