Senior Manager Products

Job Description:

 Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to join our innovative product team. The ideal candidate will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of our health insurance products, from ideation and development to launch and optimization, ensuring market competitiveness and profitability while meeting customer needs and regulatory requirements.

Primary Role & Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the product roadmap, defining new product features, enhancements, and strategic initiatives for the health portfolio
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to identify gaps and opportunities in the health insurance market.
• Translate business requirements into detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), use cases, and user stories in collaboration with multiple stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Actuarial, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Legal, Compliance) to design, develop, test (UAT), and launch new products/features
• Monitor product performance, profitability, and key metrics (e.g., uptake, claims, customer satisfaction)
• Act as the product champion, aligning stakeholders and managing expectations across all levels for product success
• Ensure all products and processes comply with IRDAI regulations and internal guidelines

Key Requirements –

• Education : MBA/PGDM in Marketing
• Experience: 3-6 years in product management within the health insurance or insurtech sector
• Insurance Knowledge: Strong understanding of health insurance products, regulatory landscape, policy servicing and underwriting basics
• Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze data, define requirements, and solve complex problems
• Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. Prefer candidates who have interacted with business partners/banks
• Project Management: Proficient in delivering high impact cross-functional, complex programs/projects utilizing robust Agile methodologies
• Working knowledge of developing and implementing IT platforms for new products and launches
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams
